Bank Sohar Unveils Internet Banking
Bank Sohar has launched the Al Mumayaz consumer internet banking solution using a layered security infrastructure that included the VeriSign digital certificate, secured socket layers (SSL), 128-bit encryption, two levels of passwords, firewalls and most importantly the virtual keypad.
The layered approach to security has a cumulative effect to offer the best protection possible for confidential data. The world’s 40 largest banks and hundreds of regional banks have reposed their trust in VeriSign for secured socket layers services.
